Kite camp in Mui Ne — a week with the kiter crew
KITENAM has been running camps since 2014. In one week — maximum kite, maximum surf, excursions and trips across Vietnam. Everything is organised; all you have to do is show up.
Ride
Kitesurfing is the core of the camp. You learn or polish your technique every day, with morning surf sessions in place of a wake-up workout.
Travel
Two full-day trips: a motorbike tour through the waterfalls of southern Vietnam, and a kite trip to the flat-water spot in Phan Rang.
Explore
Excursions around the region: the Red Canyon, the Fairy Stream, the Buddha temple, the best spots for Vietnamese food.
Unwind
An evening programme every day: massage, the food court, seafood, the farewell party.
Day-by-day programme
Day 1 — meet the instructors, get the camp routine, an easy evening to settle in. If you arrived earlier, you get a kite session in the morning.
Day 2 — first lesson. Surf in the morning, then kitesurfing, an excursion to the Red Canyon in the evening.
Day 3 — morning trip to the Buddha temple, then second kite lesson. Evening on the trampolines and a seafood dinner.
Day 4 — third lesson. Surf in the morning, then kite. Evening: pho and a walk along the Fairy Stream.
Day 5 — motorbike tour through the waterfalls of southern Vietnam.
Day 6 — fourth lesson. Surf, kite, evening massage and the food court.
Day 7 — kite trip to Phan Rang. Everyone gets up on the board with confidence — that’s the goal of the week.
Day 8 — final kite and surf lessons. Farewell party in the evening.
